You have to remove the tank. leave your fuel selector on. no fuel will escape when you disconect the hose from the tank. remove the four phillip head screws facing th front of the bike. slide out the air filter. you may want to change or clean the plugs while you have the tank off.

Open your seat , look a blak box hooked up to the back of your carbs, then if you do not see it there, take off the gas tank and it should be there.

Good afternoon, I've just bought a 1991 KLE 500 but it doesnt have any manual with it. I'm trying to find out what the positions are for the fuel cut-off switch on the left hand side of the bike as there...

You can go to Kawasaki.com and get the manual for "YOUR" bike. They have manuals for owners of 1986 to the present. The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) must be entered in order to retrieve it. VIN # IS_SEQUENCE OF17 DIGITS. **EXAMPLE ***** JKAVFKA16VB508039 *****
After you find & download the manual ,you may need Adobe reader to open it with.
Here is a picture where to find the number and the web-page to enter your info.

Tyre pressures front and rear for kawasaki 500 kle

It will differ depending on which tires you have on it. The easiest solution is to look right on the tire. It will have a PSI listing in small letters on the side of the tire, usually somewhere close to the rim. I have never seen a tire that didn't list the pressure right on it.
