Check the fuses and the connections on the wiring harness. Trace how far the power goes. Where it stops is the problem.

Brake lights and rear turn signals dont work in my 2008 dodge charger

If both the brake lights and rear turn signals are not functioning in your 2008 Dodge Charger, there are several possible causes to consider. Here are some common issues that could lead to this problem:
1. Blown fuses: Check the fuse box for any blown fuses related to the brake lights and turn signals. A blown fuse can interrupt the circuit and prevent the lights from working. Refer to your vehicle's manual to locate the specific fuse for these functions and replace it if necessary.
2. Faulty bulbs: Inspect the bulbs in the brake lights and turn signals to see if they are burnt out or damaged. If a bulb is not working, it should be replaced. It's possible that multiple bulbs have failed simultaneously, leading to both the brake lights and turn signals not functioning.
3. Wiring issues: Check the wiring connections and harnesses for any signs of damage, loose connections, or corrosion. Faulty wiring can disrupt the electrical flow and prevent the lights from operating. Repair or replace any damaged wiring as needed.
4. Malfunctioning brake light switch: The brake light switch, located near the brake pedal, activates the brake lights when the pedal is pressed. If the switch is faulty or misaligned, it can cause the brake lights to not work. Consider having the brake light switch inspected and replaced if necessary.
5. Faulty turn signal relay: The turn signal relay controls the flashing of the turn signals. If the relay is defective, it can prevent the rear turn signals from operating. Consider replacing the turn signal relay if other potential causes have been ruled out.
If troubleshooting these common issues does not resolve the problem, it is recommended to consult a professional mechanic or authorized Dodge service center for a more accurate diagnosis and repair. They will have the expertise and necessary tools to pinpoint and fix the specific issue with your 2008 Dodge Charger's brake lights and rear turn signals.

2004 Lincoln Navigator rear driverside turn signal is not working ?

Note the diagram. Left rear turn, the light green wire with orange tracer is voltage. The black wire ground. You need both voltage and ground. Use a test light to check. The voltage for turn signal comes from multifunction switch. As far as the ground, you could try a redundant ground? good luck

1987. Why is there no power at the turn signal cam?

Do you have brake and parkng lights? The turnsignal switch on the column is just designed to relay a path to the flasher and then it is designed to interupt the brake and some of the parking lights lights, which cause the flashing on and off. Double check fuses double check bulb socks and bulbs for good contacts. Does the 4 ways work? If the lights all flash then locate the turn signal flasher and switch with emergency flasher if possible to rule out relay. If those are all good and the emergency flasher lights work and bulbs, then you would have a problem with the turn signal switch. Hope this all helps

I need to wire stop and turn to the same light using a two elamut bulb

Most ambitious, but can't imagine why you would do this. However, none of my business I suppose. You could use wiring diagram from any earlier vehicle which used combination bulbs, but basically the trick is that you now have to have brake light circuit run through the turn signal switch, such that when the brake lights are on, the turn switch interrupts the circuit and flashes the correct turn lamps. Doing this may require modifying you turn signal switch, or replacing it with an earlier type. This may not be easy, unless you by a aftermarket turn switch intended for trucks or cars which either never had turn signals, or had a switch fail which is no longer available (think hot rod). Check out the wiring for say a 1964 chevy to get the idea. These wiring diagrams should be in the shop manual for any older cars, but you can also join a ho rod forum and ask there.

My turn signals and emergency flashers quit and the signal fuse is good Help?

okay...the signal fuse powers horns, dash indicator lights (neutral, OD etc)
so all that is working fine?

the other common items are the wiring to the bulbs and the bulbs....doubt all 4 failed at once.

Looking at my wiring diagram, it looks like the system was designed so the hazard circuit and the turn signal circuit cannot be used at the same time, It appears that the common component to accomplish this is the Hazard Relay (not Hazard Flasher Relay). Basically the power to your Turn Signal flasher is fed from the Hazard Relay if your Hazard Switch is off, and when the Hazard Switch is ON, the Hazard Relay switches and cuts off power supply to Turn Signal flasher, and feeds the 4 turn signals for 4 way flashing.
So I suspect possibly either your connector at the Hazard Relay is loose, or the relay has failed
I'll try to find location for you, looking for a 6 wire connector with the following colours
Brown/White, Brown, Brown/Red, Brown/Green, Chocolate, Dark Green.

It may be under the right side cover....there is one flasher relay there...but will do some research.
You realize the Venture has a 5 year warranty?
