Vibrates in 6th gear the minute I hit 70 mph

My foot on the foot board actually vibrates off it is so strong. I recently put on Vance & Hines pipes and they are loud. Wondering if they are too powerful and causing bike to vibrate.

SOURCE: Question about Vance and Hines quiet baffles

about 3-5db but you must remember db is not a linear scale but logirythmic. basicallyy the baffles will remove the harsh rasp off the pipe and make them deep in sound, when cold they will be as loud as normal but once they have some heat in them they quieten down

SOURCE: Loud Vance and Hines long shots

Depending on the pipes you purchased, they will be stamped as to whether or not they meet noise requirements. Many if not most aftermarket pipes do not. Sorry.

This could be a result from a couple of different things however if your vibration is at idol and has and keeps getting worse it is proably one of the motor mounts. These can very difficult to see so if you remove one there is a thin lip above the rubber and metal bracket and if that is not there then the mount is no good

2017 Ford F-150 has shudder or hard vibration in 4th, 5th, and 6th gear until it reaches about about 65 or 70 mph?

Check for DTCs diagnostic trouble codes. It may be a misfire under load. It could also be any of these.

It appears to be a known issue and your question is famous already :>D

Car vibrates between 55 and 70 then stops when exceeding 70 mph

Sounds like a high speed balance issue. You might take it to a tire shop and ask for a high speed balance. It also could be tie rod ends starting to wear and you are hitting a speed where they want vibrate.

How to put on Vance &hines longshots on a 2002

Its very simple. I bet if you go on youtube you can find an instructional video on removal and installation. If you find a video of another brand, watch it. 99% of the pipes install exactly the same. I bet there are a total of 6 bolts all together

Hard to start when hot

It sounds like you fuel map is wrong. Motorcycle are extremely sensitive to any changes you make in the intake or exhaust system. Sounds like you need to take your bike and have it put on a dyno to figure out the new map for your fuel. I'm not familiar with the the Vance & Hines fuel pack. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, Good Luck, Steve

Oscillating vibration around 60-70 mph in 6th gear

sounds like a cv joint to me. That is what usually occurs when one is showing wear. C.V joints usually wear out between 80,000 and 120,000 k.m.

2000 GMC Sonoma Vibrates at 25 and 45 mph

Generally, the tire vibration only arrives at 60ish.
However, if you have a distorted tire, or worse, more than one, or even worse, Buckled Wheels!
You are inevitably going to experience vibrations, at varying speeds.
Take the wheels off, and make sure, the wheels are actually still,, er, circular.
It's best to put them on a Balancing Machine, then you can see how bad they are.
If the problem isn't solved soon, you may well be finding yourself, forking out for new wheel bearings.
That should do it.
Happy motoring.
