Kawasaki krr 150 manual

Recently, i just sent to one of the workshop to service my engine block, fyi this is the first time i was sent to workshop after i bought my second hand superkips. This repairman did repair all kinds of 2t motorcycle but never with super kips. So after he serviced my bike and also identified that my magnet coil got some problem n fix it, i get back my bike but this time i feel my valve like very hard to open, when rpm 8 or 9 then open, it different then before coz before when it reach rpm 7 it will start to open. Is it my valve got problem when the repairmen put back the valve after service the block?coz he also service the valve(open everything out).

SOURCE: Engine Replacement

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

I have a 93 ZZR250. Before considering replacing the engine, perform a compression test. Compression lower than 125 would be a cause of concern and therefore the engine swap would really have to be pushed through. Otherwise, it might just need valve adjustment.

Please postback results of compression test.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

SOURCE: 2009 Dyna Super Glide Custom starting problems:

Does the start quit turning or does it continue to sound like it's turning? If the starter quits turning, I'd suspect the battery. Take it out and have it tested. Usually no charge for this service at most any auto parts house.

If the starter sounds like it's still turning but the engine isn't, that's an indication that the "starter clutch" is bad inside the starter. This is the "one way bearing" unit that turns the engine to start it but then freewheels when the engine starts. I've seen many of them go bad. If the bike is still under warranty, take it back to the dealer before the warranty runs out. At least have a documented complaint of the problem within the warranty period. That way, if the warranty runs out you may can still get it fixed under the warranty.

Use SAE 15W40 for bikes from Castrol, BanRay or any motorbike oil brands. You need about 2.3 litre and a new oil filter suitable for your bike. The oil filter normally lives on the front part of you bike just ahead of your exhaust pipies.
Good enough for thumb ups?

How do i set the timing on my ZXR 400 1989 model?

You might need a workshop manual for this one. If you are in ANY doubt at all, PAY A MECHANIC TO DO IT. The Cam sprockets and the Crank sprocket will have set markings on them. These will line up with matching markings on the engine block.
**NOTE** I am NOT familiar with this Particular engine.**
Generally CAM marks are usually at the 3 o'clock, (exhaust), and 9 o'clock, (intake), positions NOT TDC!!
The CRANK marks are usually at the 12 o'clock position, known as TDC. I think your engine has a 'notch' on the crank pulley and a raised line mark on the engine block.
