Fuses & RelaysThe fuse box is located under the engine hood on the left side, near the upper strut housing or near the battery. Various relays are also mounted on the fuse box for easy accessibility.
Flashers The flashers are located behind the bottom center of the lower instrument trim panel.
to Rideonronm; I bought one of these ex police r1150rt,s 3 months ago & thought i had a blown fuse for the heated grips- fuse box under the seat by the way-,turned out when the police de-commisioned the bike,they cut both 12volt wires going to the grips. My solution was to take the fairing off & re-connect both wires.....works fine now.
Look under the hood, there should be a black plastic box about 6 to 8 inches square, or something along that size. The top cover should say something about fuses or relays. Just take that cover off and there should be a diagram of the fuse layout stuck on the inside of the cover.
