1999-2003 Windstar - fuse #'s 18 in the PASSENGER - INSIDE fusebox control the power window motors.
The owner's manual identifies 2 fuses, #34 for the drivers side, #40 for the passenger's side. The Fuse panel is located under the dash, driver's side, close to the side wall. Squeeze the fuse cover plate to remove it and use the fuse puller on the underside of the fuse cover plate to remove the fuse. #34 and #40 are 30 amp fuzes and adjacent to each other

SOURCE: My horn on my 1996 ford windstar does not

It would seem likely that the clockspring has broken internally. This is the component behind the steering wheel allowing electrical connections for anything attatched to the steering wheel. Do you have an ABS light on?

SOURCE: can't find fuse for horn

You would probably find it under the hood in the relay box, it is high voltage and might even be a breaker. Check it out.

SOURCE: trying to find fuse location

Behind the right headlight.

1995-1998 - #20 Fuse . On The Fuse panel. 25 amp

in the engine compartment, drivers side behind the battery in front of the around air filter, there is a fuse compartment. Its a mini fuse a #25 fuse. you have find the latch on the compartment to get it to open! According to the OWNERS MANUAL, fuse/relay #4 in the engine compartment fusebox covers the horns.

Cruise control and horn dont blow

Take it to a garage. The older fords have a lot of electrical problems. Previous owner tried to fix my son's ford and totally messed up the electrical problems so much that all fuses had to be taken out. It ran a long time but they finally all overheated. Now it's a day time car only. If he puts a fuse in, it blows something else and the car eventually dies. He was driving down the road (behind a state trooper) with the inside and outside lights flasing off and on. Someone trying to fix it on their own messed it up. The horn on my ford would suddenly start blowing in traffic or sitting in the parking lot. We took the fuse out until it could be fixed by a mechanic.

Hi my horn does not work in my 2000 ford windstar but i dont know where i should look to replace it can you please help me is it in the van or under the hood and in what position thank you very much

First check the fuse. On your 2000 it is Fuse #4 on the fusebox in the engine compartment. The horn is located inside the fender behind the left headlight. You get at it by removing 5 phillips screws. The bottom part of the plastic fender liner, and reaching in. A 1/2 socket takes off the bracket, and the wire is connected by a spade lug. It may have come loose.

When the temperatures drop or if it is damp outside my horn sounds and I need to remove the fuse to get it to stop what could be the problem

get in your owners manual and find the locations of your fuse panels. there is generally a small one under the hood and a larger one under the dash. there will be a legend as to what is what inside the lid of the panel. find the horn relay and remove it. that will shut your horn off permanently. you may just want to try replacing it in case your old relay is bad and causing the problem. any parts store will have a Ford relay in stock.

2004 ford windstar, the airbag light is on and the horn will not work

As far as the horn, check for a blown fuse, if fuse is ok, locate the horn underneath the hood, check for power at the horn while someone else is pushing the horn. If you have battery voltage at the horn while someone else is pushing the horn, chances are you have a bad horn. Airbag light, check front impact sensors for damage or corrosion, unhook negative battery cable before touching the frontal impact sensors, Good luck, Gary
