Driving lights wiring diagram 2006 BMW R1200GS

Easiest way would be to install a switch between the lights and the high beam switch. That way it would still come on only when high beams are on but you could turn them off. Alternately you could rewire them completely so they run only off of a switch, but then you would have to tun them on and off manually all the time. ---> expect to be pulled over for not dimming your lights when you encounter an oncoming police car and you forget they are on.

I have removed the servo unit/abs from my 2004 R1200GS because the servo was not working bypassing the brakes. Now the speedometer is not working. Is there anything that can be done to make it work on this...

Ive just removed the ABS / Servo pump from my 2006 R1200GS. I also by passsed the hydraulics. Now my speedo wont work!!! Does any have a work around??

Get the power for you heated grips directly from the ignition switch. Use a test light to determine which wire to use. You're looking for a "switched" wire, one that goes on and off with the switch.
