not if in good condition, i usually smear a small amount of instant gasket (comes in a tube from car spares) when re-using old gaskets

sounds like a valve, or camshaft damaged, check compression, visually inspect rockers, some good vids on youtube if this is new to you.

Best you can find. Rock Oil if you can. Stay away from the old Magnatek etc etc as I found them to be no better than the 15 quid cheaper Rock Oil. (Slick50 my ninja too! Old thing. )

thats good and also chec plug wires for age... However u may need to rebalance the carbs and cylinders--do u hav a clymer manual!!

1990 H model fuel pressure 0.11 to 0.16 Bars or 1.6 to 2.3 psi. Kawasaki require spesial tool part no. 57001-983. other ohmmeters may give bad readings,with high-capacity batterys or cause damage,to the relay. cant find specs so call local kwak dealer for part no etc
