Spark plugs i have to replace my spark plugs every ride what do i do to fix it??

sometimes when a spark plug or the coil is going bad it will run till it gets hot then die. after it cools off it will start and run fine. till it gets hot again. replace the spark plug if that don't fix it you may want to start looking for a coil.

put a new spark plug in it. i just fixed a john Deere i worked on for hours. the only thing i didn't do was replace the spark plug. after i put a new plug in it it ran like new.

You may have lost the spark..Try pulling the spark plug wire and very carefully using a pair of insulated pliers hold the wire close to the plug end or the engine head..and try to start..you should see a spark between the wire and the plug or head...if not change the plug if still no spark..will need to replace the coil...good luck..

sounds like you have a stuck valve or out of adjustment

Head gasket replacement is part of what you
would call a small equipment tune-up,where as
on a car ,it would be a break down repair


Head Gasket and carbon removal is done every
8 or 10 years if you want a good running small
equip engine.

If some sort of additive helped some, then remove
the carb clean it & install a new spark plug

Oil usage is a worn & out of round cylinder,
no fix for that

Hi Peter, check the valve clearances. There is a decompressor on the camshaft that won't work if the valve clearances are to great or a rocker post is loose. Regards Phil.

The first thing I would do is replace the spark plug and spark plug wire. If you still don't have a spark then you need to replace the ignition coil. If you are willing to spend the money you can just replace all three, but the plug and wire will be a lot cheaper and this will usually fix the problem.

Pull off the old ones and take them to your local auto parts store, make sure you write down the make and model number as well, they may ask for it.

If the oil is not in the cylinder,and is just around the spark plug,then get a new valve cover gasket with grommets,and spark plug seals,and replace it,if it has oil in the cylinders,it should be smoking,when running,and using oil.
