How do you remove petrol tank from suzuki 125 v twin i am trying to free the choke cable from carburetta end as it is siezed { won;t budge]

think tank off air box off, and lube the cables. just done sons sv650

have you tried adjusting it first where it connects to the handle should be a screw with a round nut on it pull back on this screw nut towards handle to remove is opposite

older Vespas without separate Oil-tanks need a premix of 1:50 oil in the gasoline - but yours is an automatic oil-mixer type.
check the oil-level-glass under the seat near the choke.
it must be full of oil - the oil tank can hold about 1 liter of 2-stroke oil. How much oil did you fill in?
Probably the previous owner removed the oil supply tube and filled always an oil-gasoline premix. You better ask him about it. If the tube was removed then there was no oil supplied to your engine and it got stuck and the engine bearings are blown.

Make sure you have ignition spark and just wer yhe tip of the plug with gas. Puttting gas in the cylinder is too rich and will add to you problem. Good Luck

before you stored it for the 3 months did you drain the carbs and petrol tank... if you havent then your probably right to think that fuel isnt flowing to the engine.. overtime petrol additives eveporate leaving a gunky residue in the float bowls of the carbs and clogging up the jets... so drain all the old fuel, clean the carbs and hopefully that should get you back on the road

If choke is needed it must be starving for petrol check there are no kinks in fuel line an also check and replace petrol filter check if you have a tap on tank (properly not) there may be a filter behind tap clean it.

The carburator end...you will need to remove the seat and gas tank.The top of the carb will turn off counter clockwise, then you can pull the "slide" up out of the carburator. Note which is the front for re-assemble. There is a spring between the slide and cap, and look into the slide to see if your cable clips in, or may have a phillips screw and plate to remove to get the cable free. I use needle nose pliers to hold the spring back to remove and replace the cable.
The throttle end is easier. Remove the plastic cap and unthread the adjusting worm nut. The cable end "ball" will come out with the help of needle nose pliers also. Pull the cable slack up to rotate the "ball" out of the throttle tube.
