Hi,

The bike uses around 600ml of gear oil, but you should always check the level at the level bolt. When the bolt is removed, fill oil until it flows out the level hole. Replace bolt. Run the motor briefly and then inspect the level again. Add more oil if needed. Use BelRay trans oil 10w80.

The fuel mix should be 3.5 percent oil to unleaded fuel.
If you are not racing, mix 30:1
Always use a good fully synthetic oil

What goes in a kdx 80 gear oil or 2 stroke oil

Engine oil goes in the gearbox/transmission. Two stroke oil (also know as pre-mix) is mixed with the gas and oil in a separate gas can (to thoroughly mix the pre-mix and gasoline) and then the mix is poured into the fuel tank.

How much oil is mixed with the tank of gas?

The easiest way is you need to start with a 1 gal gas container and mark/label it 2 Stroke Fuel. All your Pre-mix oils give you instructions for the ratio of ounces of pre-mix to gallons of gas. You can normally find a plastic syringe that is labeled in ounces to use if you purchase your Pre-mix in larger volumns than the single use packets. I would also recommend using a fuel stabilizer such as Sta-bil to put in the gas to keep the stored fuel from breaking down.

What is the setting for the fuel mixture, on a craftsman chainsaw model no. 358.352050 ?

Mix it the oil supplier's recommended ratio. I use Stihl 2 cycle oil mixed @ 50:1 in a Pioneer2.gif that I purchased new in 1980. There are no gouges or scratches on the piston or cylinder and I have no carbon build up on the piston top. The manual (on stone tablets) recommends 24:1. As the oil manufacturers improve their product I add less oil to match the ratio they recomend. HTH
