1997 Royal Star Tour Deluxe

I have a 1997 yamaha royal star tour deluxe. At various times I cannot start the bike. I have to jiggle the switch and turn it off and on before starting. My question is how to remove the switch to see if a wire is loose or if it is getting the right connection.

What is the procedure for changing the front and rear brake pads on a 2005 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe

Changing (disc) brake pads on metric MCs is pretty simple. I would advise you to buy a shop manuel for your particular bike. The investment in a shop Manuel will probably save you lots of $$$. You'll find there's a whole lot of stuff you can do your self. Things are explained very clear and simple.

Went to start my 2006 Yamaha ROyal Star Tour Deluxe, had no power to ignition or electrical system

sounds like possible bad battery or batttery connections. If battery is more than 4-5 years old thatis a good place to start as it should be replaced anyway.
