Steering shakes very bad,from 55mph down to 20mph. slowing down

More info please ! Steering wheel wont shake in park if vehicle not moving. But to hazard a guess without knowing make year are model would not be possible .

the rotors on your car are probably warped might want to check your sterring links tye rods etc your rear brake noise could be bad rear brakes

this could be a few things. if the odor was of rotton eggs...it's either a broken/loose motor mount that shakes the exhaust system causing the catalyitic converter to make that smell, or, in a worse case, its your transmission overheating and burning up ATF (automatic transmission fluid) and this is causing the torque converter plates to rotate out of harmony with each other causing the vibration. if the smell is more a burnt rubber, it's much more likely you have a timing issue or a worn main bearing on your crankshaft. this causes vibration and wear on the belts causing them to "burn" or emit that burnout smell. either way, take it to your mechanic right away because none of these problems will end well if left unattended. good luck!

You need to find if your problem is coming from front or rear first.Do a test drive where you can drive at slow speed with no traffic an a good road.At 10 to 15 mph,
notice if the steering wheel is rocking left then right.If itis your problem is in the front wheels,if it doesn't pick up speed to 15 to 20mph,notice whether your back side is rocking left and right,if it does your probable is in the rear wheels.Next is to see the wheels on a spin balancer to check for steel belt shifting in tire or bent wheels.If none of this helps you didn't mention any sounds,but check the u joints

Tires need to be balanced. Take it to a tire shop and ask them to balance all 4 wheels. Problem will be fixed.

the wheel shaking sounds like a wheel balancing problem and the no steering response is either some loose ball joints or a bad gear it will need to go to the shop for both

either a tire seperating or unbalanced...
Bad waterpump...it has a weep hole that lets you know its time to change it.

Front shocks are week

Check the front steering damper. The steering damper is a shock that is mounted horizontaly in the front. The damper is bad if you see oil leaking from it or if the car has high mileage and never been replaced.
