After hunting around the web for a few, it sounds like the spring is from the timing chain tensioner. It looks like there is a button on the end of the cylinder, that end goes in first, then the spring. See if the spring is the same on both ends, the picture looks like it's smaller at one end and that end goes into the tensioner, not the bolt. I'll include a screen shot of the picture.
Good luck!11_26_2011_3_17_47_pm.jpg

tip

How to bump start a 110cc pitbike or 125cc pitbike

at first push your bike to a hill (dosnt matter how big or small)

remember where you can put it into second gear hold the cluch in and push down the hill and let out the cluch and jump as soon as it bites then it should fire up same as a car but harder on a pit bike as you got too much throttle you will flip it and gotta do it all again haha hope this was helpfull

if it still doesnt fire up then you have a problem with your bike

IMPORTANT........................................................................

1. make sure the petrol is on and the bike isnt flodded
2. make sure not too much throttle or it could be dangerous and if you do flip it lose go straight away

125cc pit pro, pit bike Kick start lever jammed

remove the cover that houses the kick starter and look for a failed return spring or some other reason that keeps the kick start dog engaged.

I have a ssr 125 pit bike it starts fine but when you give it a little throttle it starts to sputter a little . it seems to run fine once you get going .i just finished breaking it in its got 2 hours on...

It sounds like you need to overhaul and clean out the carb. There may be jets and passages partly clogged and are restricting your fuel flow at wider throttle settings.
