Fuel leaks from carb overflow tube
I am going to go with a few taps on the side of the carb around the bowl .. use the handle of a screwdriver .. it is mostlikely a stuck float.. if that doesn't fix it take the carb off pull the bowl look at the needle and seat make sure there isn't something keeping the needle from fitting snugly into the seat. Not sure if the tip of the needle is rubber or the seat it's self on this carb.. one or the other will be. Look for cracks in the rubber. If none I would try to re adjust the float setting ..

Yes, it sounds EXACTLY like a stuck float. You may be able to fix it yourself depending on how accessable the offending carburetor is. Quite often you can free up a stuck float by setting up a bit of vibration. Give this a try > tap the side of the carb repeatedly using the plasitc end of a screwdriver. You are not looking to hammer the thing to death, just create minor shocks. The shocks / vibration will often free up a stuck float. Please rate this solution and let me know if all went well.

The overflow tube coming out behind the swingarm? If that is where it is coming from sounds like your float in one of the carbs could be stuck.

that would be either the float set to high or the needle and seat is missing an o-ring while you had it apart. Should look at getting a carb kit there only approx. 23 bucks and it would save you a lot of grief in the long run.

Sounds like the float is sticking, you can get card cleaner from motor shops that you spray inro the airbox (remove filter first)while running the engine, otherwise you will need to remove and clean the carb.
Examine idle and main mixture adjustment screws and O-Rings for cracks and damage. Check inlet needle and seat for condition and proper installation. For detail about carbs check here-->
