When i turn the key on my ignition there's no power at all, no clicks, no sound from the fuel pump, nothing, not even lights on dashboard however there is power there as my stereo, fans, lights and wipers all work

Sound's like you have some sort of a short or an open, somewhere, i would first check your fuse box,
in your engine and in your dash with a test light. make sure all fuses are working, if you had an open or short it could be possible you blew various fuses with a certain surge of power..
Second.. if you have an aftermarket sterio and all said before turns out alright. then i would pull out and check the wiring in the sterio and all surrounding it, one could have been rubbing up on another bare wire or ground out.
good luck..

If you hear the relay click, but no pressure at all then it would be the fuel pump needing replacement
SOURCE: turn the ignition on my 330d fuel pump buzzing ok
test power to starter with a voltmeter while someone else turns the key. if you are getting power, than solenoid is faulty. If you are not getting power, than relay or ignition switch is bad. Do double check your battery connections to make sure they are metal to metal contact.
SOURCE: ignition on but starter won't engage. Had new key
sounds like you need to relace the starter

Still having the same problems. All fuses checked and all ok. Friend popped round and believes that there's no power going to the fuse box inside the car. Any ideas anyone
Battery is clean and spotless however if its not providing enough crank power, that wouldn't stop the ignition lights not coming on as that is also part of the problem
