My fuel filter was clogged so I replaced the sock and pump then cleaned the entire tank. Afterwards, it did not start so I removed and cleaned (soaked overnight) the fuel injectors (6) then replaced them but it will not start. I'm my own boss and my disposition is becoming desperate. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Have you checked fuel pressure at the rail with a gauge yet ?
Are you getting spark to the plugs ? Have you tried spraying starting fluid into the intake to make sure it is a fuel problem ?
Do hear fuel pump running could have bad fuel pump relay or fuse.
SOURCE: engine idle? fuel filter or injectors?
Dont bother with the filter, its under your intake I believe, but Im sure its not the problem. yes, only use toyota plugs and wires

Possibly a leaking head gasket. Water/antifreeze seeps into the cyllinder when it cools off, and then it won't fire properly until the coolant is blown out the exhaust when you start it. Let it warm up with the rad cap off. If you see bubbles continuously coming up to the filler hole, you have a head gasket problem. Do you have to add coolant monthly, or weekly?
If you're lucky, it could be just a spark plug that doesn't want to do anything until it warms up, or it could be a valve.

In a quiet environment sit in the car and turn the key on you should hear a quiet motor noise coming from the gas tank, if you have doubts have an assistant turn the key on while you bend down and listen near the gas tank you should hear the fuel pump turn on then stop shortly after the key is turned, don't try starting vehicle, if you do not hear this sound the pump in the tank has failed or the fuse blew, locate and check the fuse if it blew chances are the pump is in fact seized. It is not an easy job the fuel tank must be remove to access and replace the pump. There is a chance that the fuel pump relay is bad locate and check fuse and relay first before dropping the tank.

No, you don't have to drain the fuel tank. All you have to do is relieve the fuel pressure. If your car will start, remove the fuse or relay for the fuel pump and start the car. Let it idle until it stalls. Then turn off the key and remove the negative battery cable (to prevent sparks while you work).
I hope this helps.

Try removing the petrol cap on the tank, if the truck runs ok then you have a blockage in a hose somewhere.(vacuum created in fuel tank)
