How can i know if my voltage regulator is working, Im not getting any of my lights to work

The voltage regulator in the alternator has probably failed. The AH rating of the battery has nothing to do with it. This is why I would never own a MB, too many gadgets that cost a fortune to fix when they fail.

You must replace the window regulator assembly inside the door.

This was a fairly common problem for older cars. It was usually caused by a bad voltage regulator, that allowed the voltage to get too high. I recently fixed the same problem on a 1986 Dodge.
I haven't heard of this on newer cars. The newer cars have electronics can be very sensitive to voltage spikes.

Anyway, I still suspect that the high voltage is the problem. You can have the voltage checked, but it may be intermitent. Most modern charging systems have the voltage regulator integrated in the alternator. An alternator can be pretty expensive to replace, just to try it out. You could have the alternator checked at an auto parts store. Or you may have to have it checked by a auto tech/dealer.

Another possibility is the type of bulb you are using. I replaced the bulbs on my Escape with Sylvania Silverstars. I blow them pretty regular; every 6mos or so. This is fairly common with high output headlamps.

There is a fault in your battery or the alternator or voltage regulator. It is most likely the alternator as in this model the voltage regulator should be built into the alternator. You can remove the alternator and have it tested at Auto Zone or Advance auto or Pep Boys, most major auto parts stores offer to test them to make sure that is the problem. Since you would have to trade in the old one as a Core to get the new one it only makes sense to have it tested first anyway.

I had the same problem there is a inline fuse on the red wire that comes off the battery the wire goes to the starter then to the alternater after the starter there is a black bow on the red wire run your hand down it you will find it its at the back of the moter it have 175 amp fuse unbolt it go to auto zone and they have them

Test the door window motors,and first test the switch its selfIf you know how to test with a muiltimeter you can test to see if the sw is get voltage to it.If it is and dont work than the sw could be bad,,,But not untill you try getting voltage to the window motor if moter will run with a hot wire than its the sw,,if not replace moter.

the voltage regulator on this along with most newer vehicles is located inside of the alternator. this is not replaceable as it is internal unless you get an alternator rebuild kit. if helpful please leave positive rating.

The voltage is regulated by the pcm (power control module ) on the truck. You cannot make any adjustments, removed or tampered with in any way to the pcm. Only a dodge dealer can check it out to see what the problem is with the pcm. Hope this will help you.

there is a blower moter resistor the regulates voltage when you change fan speeds. this is most likely the cause
