CB Radio on 2003 Honda Goldwing quits working

The cb radio on my 2003 Honda Goldwing quits working. I get a cb error on the dash at this time I must shut off the cb and turn it back on to get it to work. Sometimes it will continue to work for mile other times I get the error again within seconds. Any idea why this is happening?

2019 honda goldwing cb radio does not transmit - TX light comes on - CB radio does receive transmissions from other cb radios

You check your radio with other radio very near. If radio is hearing your transmission then it mean that your Radio Power Module not working if very near radio not listening you then your preamplifier and Power amplifier is not working, it mean your Radio Transmitter faulty, only Receiver is working, you consult with any Radio Service shop. One other thing if you have software also check Tx/Rx frequency it must be same for simplex operation.

I own a 2007 Goldwing with approx. 8000 miles on it. After the battery went dead (and rolled the bike down an incline to jumpstart it), I began to experience problems with my cb and radio. The cb will...

Hello,

Did you replace the battery or charge it back to capacity?

If your battery is not at full charge or isn't supplying the correct amps to the electrical system, every time you key your CB it will drop the voltage and other electrical components will stop working - or not work properly.

Make sure that your battery is fully charged and the electrolytes are at the proper levels.

If you put a new battery in your Gold Wing, did you buy the correct battery? A cheaper battery will most like cause problems with the electrical system.

If you find this information useful, please vote on this post. Thank You.
