I have a Jonway 50cc scooter. The problem I am having is I turn the key. The fuel guage goes up. As soon as I apply brake and press the starter the gas guage goes down. I hear a ticking sound. What is

I just replaced the oil when this started to happen. I took out the spark plug and the tip if covered with oil. How do i get this thing to start without having to kickstart it. When i kick start it and drive. There is alot of smoke.
