Have an 06 Suzuki Katana 750. when I start it with full choke it runs fine, then when I go to ride (choke off) it has a low idle and stalls out. I have to go full choke for it to warm up for over 30 min. What is the problem?

Add some sea foam in the gas tank. Leave in idle run for about 5 to 7 minutes. Then idle the rpms up and watch the white smoke choke out. Which will clean or attempt to clean the throttle body out

I belive its the carbs need cleaned and synced as well.

sounds like a bad diaphram in one of the carbs

you need to have the carbs cleaned. i assure you it will run fine after if someone competant dose the cleaning. if you have any mechanical knowledge at all with a service manual you can do this yourself.

When you are on the bike and riding do you still have the choke out? And stop spraying starter fluid into the carbs..bad bad bad.... bikes start with out that stuff and if you need it then something is wrong.. your gonna mess something up doing that....let me know about the choke and we will go from [email protected]

Sounds like a timing issue

There should be an idle adjustment located behind one of the side fairings, its usually a black dial mounted to the case somewhere low.

u have the mixture screw wound in to far. its normally located on the bottom of the carb. try winding it out half a turn at a time once the bike has warmed up. also turn the idle screw out a quarter of a turn at the time its in to far thats why it idles at low revs. the choke is needed to keep the air fuel mixture right thats why u are having to leave it on for so long. hope this helps.
