My 2007 suzuki s50 boulevard idles and runs great but at slow speeds it chugs and pops kinda cuts out but runs fine at higher speeds any ideas

    Well,..beiing that its a shaft driven bike,its going to "chug" at low speeds if youre going slow and not using the clutch.

dear bldrnr the proper oil weight for your bic depends on the climate where you ride 20/50 is recommended for hot climates 10/40 is recommended for average temps. jim

SOURCE: 2002 suzuki LS 650 running lean at higher speeds, (off idle)

this prob happens allways in carburated engines that the car or motorcycle is running lean or rich . because the air - fuel mixture ratio is not right . so you should open the carburator and remove the air filter you will find two screws in the lower front section of your caeburator. you can adjust them by a screw driver until your car is smooth

I had the same problem and i cleaned out the P.A.I.R valve and now the problen is solved. Also tighten up the reeds in it

Even though you probably don't have that many miles on the bike, or if you do have a lot riding time on it, it sounds to me like you need a valve adjustment. That's a high reving bike for that engine that works pretty hard so you might have 1 - 3 loose valves.

remove the two 4mm alen head bolts form the side, theses have lock tight so uses a small hammer to tap while you put preasure on them. a trusted buddy to tap with the hammer. then remove the two forward covers to be able to remove the forward two. and lift the seat from the rear.

Yes the wiring has problm. Fuses can look good but b bad. Clean connections. Buy a shopbook online for that model. Library may hav acopy or somethin similar
