Motorcycle engine revving high

I'll adjust the idle to about 1.5k and let the engine run, after about 30 seconds it'll rev up all on it's own to about 5k and then drop back down to about 2k. I just replaced the spark plugs and air intake ducts, also put in half can of Sea-Foam to try to clean the carbs.

I have no idea what that means.

jonny i am sorry on each carb there is slider and attached to the slides are needles that extend down through the main jet, The needle are held in place by a small c clip some times these clips com loose allowing the needle not to go down fully. This will allow a unmetered amount of fuel to enter the engin causing high idle.

I have a 4x4 89 s-10 4.3 v6 fuel injection. When I start my truck it idles high. After 30 to 50 seconds the idle goes back to normal. If I put in in reverse or drive when idle is high my back tires spin...

Sounds like the rear pads are worn out, your front brakes are keeping the truck from rolling. You need to have the high rpm checked for that 30-50 seconds as it is called the "cold start routine" and is meant to rev the engine for that time period. There may be an adjustment to keep it from over revving, check the specs for the rpm.

Even if you fix the rear brakes, the stress on the U-joints and differential or transmission is needless and can be fixed by limiting the high rpm in the "cold start cycle".

How could i tune my carburetor and which engine oil is better for this bike. i get millage only 40kmp. it runs only 2000km. how can i improve millage and it speed.

lean out the carb, you do this by letting the engine idle and turning the air/fuel mixture screw until the engine starts revving up(without turning the throttle) when it revs as high as it will go by turning the air/fuel mixture screw, then lower the idle with the idle adjust knob. as for oil, most of the major companies make a 10w30 for motorcycles. if you can afford it royal purple for motorcycles is the best, but i use castrol 4t for motorcycles its a 10w30

2004 V-star 1100-Over-revving all by itself

could be a lot of things. sounds minly like you need a valve adjustment. could also be a carb issue or an air leak around the carbs ( carb boots not on all the way or cracked).

Engine revving on my V-strom 1000

when the bike is at normal running temp, set your idle at approx 900rpm. then rev it up and see if it returns to an idle. note: i had a suzuki that did the same thing. very cold blooded engine. when cold, had to use choke until it warmed up enough to idle. Idle should be adjusted at normal running temp.

The engine revs increase when the engine gets warm.

Sounds like you are running lean. you may need to find an air leak in the intake tracked of the carb and motor. or the carb is dirty or miss adjusted pilot screw.

rx7`s should rev to 3000 when started cold then it should settle to 750 to 1000 after about 30 to 60 seconds.
mine suffers a similar problem. so far I have been told various answers, mostly involving the bac valve, lambda sensor, air flow meter, etc. try starting of by adjusting the idle adjust screw (on top of the throttle body under plastic cover) this may be all it is. I have not had time to do mine. Its been fine otherwise and idles fine after a few minutes. mine is non turbo 87.
