How can I remove the seat from my 1987 Yamaha Virago XV700. I have both a repair manual and an owner's manual, and neither one tell how to do it. ''To access fuses, first, remove seat, then locate fuse block.....'' But not HOW to remove the seat...

Most Yamaha models have 2 bolts holding the seat on, usually located between the top shock mounts and the side covers. You should be able to find them without too much trouble, but remember- they are metric. Hope this helps.
