SOURCE: have code 22 on my bike

code 22 means your air temperature sensor( located on the bottom right of your airbox) is either disconnected or broken

Error code 24 is a faulty oxygen sensor -- a relatively cheap fix. Incidentally, a faulty O2 sensor is the most common cause for a steady "Check Engine" light on any vehicle. Your V-Star is just courteous enough to tell you exactly what is wrong.

Code 22 is--- Air temperature sensor: open or short circuit detected---Check the sensor on the left intake... Check the coupler for any pins that may have pulled out. Check the locking condition of the coupler. If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect the coupler securely. I hope this helps.
