SOURCE: 94 yamaha xj 600 want rev over 6000 rpm

hi m8,,1st,, would u no if the bike has been resricted ,,to 33bhp,,if it hasent2nd,, have a look at the spark plugs,, start her up rev until it coffs or wont rev then hit the kill switch,,see wot colour the plugs are ,,they should a biscuit brown,,if not clean them up or change them,, 3rd test, start her up again throttle it a few times ,,untill shez warm,, then ,this sounds not nice, but either spit on your hand or dip hand in sum water, then quickly touch each exhaust down pipe, and make sure there isnt a pipe cooler than the other 3,, if u do find there is that would narrow the test down to that cylinder thats playin up,,try that 1st m8,, then come back if any probs still, and il take u threw next steps,,

You bike is running rich on the main jet. Go down on the main jet size. Alternate to that, move the jet needle clip up one notch.

Go to the site below and you can download a free PDF service manual and parts manual for your bike. The service manual is 45th from the bottom of the Yamaha listings and the parts manual is 19th from the top. Now you can tune the carb and adjust the timing chain slack and a whole lot more. It saves my keystroke finger a lot of work also.

Please rate this solution. Thanks glouellette!

SOURCE: need detailed diagram for all fuel, vacuum and emission hoses

for a detailed manual, you would have to buy a yamaha shop manual for service mechanics. many ppl buy these, as dealership mechanics need this for complete repairs.

SOURCE: how many liters of oil for xt 600

hi buddy by the oil plug will be a number for example 70c /700cm2 this will mean 700ml or you can do it by looking at the oil sight glass should come 3/4 full but make sure you add more as the oil filter will be empty so that needs filling also remember before you drain the oil run the bike for 5 mins so the oil becomes thinner and all drains also dab some oil on the new oil filter seal buddy any more info get back to me

Where could I find a fuel line diagram for a 92 Yamaha XJ600 Seca II?

For the fuel pump portion you can go here - http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/1992-yamaha-motorcycle-xj600sd-carburetor/o/m8199sch138373

Two hoses come from the intake area under the carburetors - the small hose on the left side (facing front) which is directly under #1 intake goes to the Fuel Petcock vacuum input. The hose under #2 intake goes to the Fuel Pump - vacuum intake (marked with P). The left side of the fuel pump is the input for fuel - the right side is the output for the fuel pump - the hose goes up to the small T input between carburetor 2 and 3. The input for the fuel pump has an inline fuel filter and that runs up to the Fuel Petcock fuel outlet.
