Er5 engine full of coolant seems to be coming from the carb into airbox and draining into the breather!

Dear KrazeeCBR,

Most likely you have an gasket failure. Check your gaskets
There is no link between engine coolant and carburator. The coolant runs through your engine and cools it. If the gasket leaks, the coolant will enter the engine. And when you switch your engine off, it will drain into airbox through carburator.

Good luck

How to replace fuel pump on 2006 kawasaki z750

Order the parts diagram/ book from ebay on CD, print out the pages. (repair manual). My friend says all you have to do is remove the gas tank and there it is. You unscrew a few parts. take i out. You have to Drain the gas into a bucket using a piece of silicon tubing (think of draining an aquarium as a kid).

Unplug/ remove the battery.

then you remove the fuel tank. There'll be residual fuel in the connecting lines, drain those too.

Unscrew the fuel pump.

Put the new one in.

I have to do the same thing, but am procrastinating.

wish there's someone else to do it for me. lol.

Bike did start up on full choke but wouldnt rev now it wont start at all now can anybody please help

It possibly needs the carbs cleaned out.
You may try draining the carb fuel bowls, into a clean container and check for brown residue or water, there will be a small drain screw on the bottom of each carb and this will allow clean fuel into the carbs

Where could i have an electrical drain

the rectifier or voltage regulator may be draining the battery, even if the charging system seemes ok.adding a ignition powered relay could stop it but replacing the bad part is the best.a solenoid switch that is turned on by a simple relay that gets its power when key is on would do it.

Charging a Garmin Nuvi 260W

Generally most batterys are left on the charger overnight, thats a good way to ensure a full charge, but as you will be using it in your car, it doesn't matter much as power is always available.

To ensure best possible battery life when you have a brand new battery, charge it fully and then drain it almost to 0% Draining most batterys into 0% will be harmfull instead of helpful, I assume the nuvi uses a Li-ion battery so draining it fully is not a good idea, drain it almost fully and then charge it fully.

And you are good to go, repeat the process if you leave the unit unused for a month or two for best battery life.

Thank you,
IwillFixIT!!
