After not using the bike for a month or two for the first time so does it start and sound great as always but after a few hundred meter does the engine dies off until im forced to stop for like 10seconds (with the engine still going) then it goes off sounding great once again. This repeats, solutions?
SOURCE: Clutch slipping while cold, when warm/hot, it operates great.
I have a 2000 Vulcan Nomad FI & had a very similar problem. In fact, it's a very common problem with these bikes. I fixed it by replacing the Clutch Spring. (As Described here: http://www.gadgetjq.com/clutch_spring_replacement.htm
It cost me $40 and 3 hours of time with an impact wrench.

Check fuel pump is working(remove seat and tank)Although your bike has carbs, they are fed by a fuel pump(under seat and tank)
if there is no fuel getting pumped when you are cranking over, replace fuel pump relay(cheapest option)If still no joy your fuel pump is u/s.although hondas have a seperate small vacume type hose running off the back of the pump, any pump off a kawasaki zx7/zx9 will do the job(they are all made by the same firm)

Definatly a good tune up would help, but it also sounds as if you may have a bad stator. I would check the voltage at the battery and see if it goes up and down when accelorating.

try crab cleaner and change the fuel filter
SOURCE: Engine cuts out with clutch engaged.
is your bjke water cooled could have aproblem with that-its gettin hot-if air cooled carb may neede cleaning. the clutch is ok but indicates to me that that carb needs a low speed jet adjust also-do u have a clymer manual!!
