sorry.. i don't know off the top of my head but super simple way to check.. get an electrical tester that pierces the wire and turns on a light.. ($5 at walmart--seriously) turn on left signal, check the wires.. the one that is flashing is your left signal... so on and so forth..

(this tool will be super handy in the future also)

Strech it is a dash mounted I have five gallon fat bobs key switch in middle

The BLACK wire (that you say you know goes to the battery), would be the HOT lead, shown as a TAN wire in the diagram.
Per the diagram, it actually connects to lug #1 on the STARTER RELAY.

As far as the RED and BLUE wires, you need to figure which is for the lights, and which is for the ignition.
My GUESS is RED's the ignition, and BLUE is the lights.

If your switch is a THREE position (ACC, OFF, IGN), it might not matter, as these switches are set up to run the lights whenever the ignition is on.

The older FOUR position switches (ACC, OFF, IGN, LIGHTS) are so you can manually select if you want to run the headlight or not, and would also have a fourth wire coming off the switch.

Hi I"m going to update

Your car must have the on-board computer with the more elaborate bulb-out sensor system because the wire colors you describe do not quite match the wiring diagram in the Bentley manual. Bentley does not show a "with check control module" front corner light which either means that they overlooked it, or it should be identical to the "without check control module" version.
According to the wiring diagram I have, the corner light should have a: A brown wire (ground), either Left Turn - A blue/green [blue with green stripe] wire Right Turn - A blue/brown wire and Left Park - A gray/violet wire Right Park - A gray/yellow wire
The only red wire I see in the diagram powers the relay for the fog lights.
Bentley is the best commercial manual there is, and should match the factory manuals, so I fear that you will need to use a voltmeter or test light, or trial-and-error your connection. If you have a voltmeter or test light, you can stick a needle through the insulation on the wire to test it to see if it is hot.
Based on my wiring diagram, I'm guessing that you don't want the blue wire, but that is just a guess.

Low Beam Drivers Side doesn't work ... low voltage,

Power for the headlights on the Left side (High and low beam.) comes from the same fuse... The ORANGE wire and the ORANGE/BLACK are the same, they connect in the harness. If you only lack the 12v to make the light work connect them at the headlight assembly.

If your low beam also lacks ground the Left low beam ground is shared with the right low beam ground... Run a wire from left low beam DARK BLUE to right low beam DARK BLUE/WHITE.

If its not working now then your cursed, seek a witch doctor.

!997 Chevrolet S10 headlight problem

ya know it kinda sounds like the headlight switch that switches from high beam to low beam has a bad contact. You don't have one of those 4-beam modules that turn on all 4 lights on high beam do you? that thing screwed my whole headlight system up, I ended up throwing it in the trash.

I have the chiltons and haynes manual, I'm sure between the two we'll find a good diagram. I gotta get my youngin to open house at school, but I'll pull the books out and send you the wiring diagram.
