No fuel or no spark. Quick test: spray some starter fluid into air intake and try to start it. If it runs and then dies, you've got spark but no fuel. If the bike quit with no prior symptoms, check spark plug wire not knocked loose, fuel filter clogged. (You do have gas, right?)
A way to verify start the bike from the cold. Note which exhaust will not heat up after the start (carefully). If the exhaust not heating would be from either cylinders 1 & 4 or 2 & 3, then it would be an electrical/ignition problem. If on the other hand what will not heat up will be the exhaust of 1 & 2 or 3 & 4, then it would be a carb/fuel problem.
Alternately, removed all the sparkplugs, reconnect to the cap and lay on metal part, start the bike. Note for absence or presence of spark on plug ends.
Offhand, the only factor to be checked that could foul a sparkplug for your bike would be the 2T oil injector/pump. There is too much 2T oil going to the combustion chamber. Either the injector would require restricting or for some reason, there is also 2T oil in the fuel tank (pre-mix).
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.
What u are describing is typical of a faulty ignition system, but could also be a fuel problem. I check by removing the aircleaner and rotating the throttle. If u see a nice spray of fuel, thats probably not the problem. Check for a spark at the plugs. I can explain how if you need me to. If you cant see a good spark, U have an electrical problem. I had a crank position sensor go bad on me. Dont do what I did (replaced the battery, ignition, and regulator as part of my diagnosis procedure)
done, still have same problem
