How do I add oil to front suspension

I own a 2004 Vulcan Classic with 28,000 miles on it and I am noticing when I hit bumps the front end seems very unstable like the triple-tree is loose. I have checked and that is not the problem. I changed my rear suspension last year so I am wondering do I need to add oil to my front forks or rebuild them? There is no oil visable from the outside meaning I don't think they are leaking fluid. If I wanted to add oil how would I accomplish this and what kind of oil do you recommend. I own the manual but it's only got an exploded view of front end assembly. Please advise on what I should be doing to resolve this issue. Thank you. Paul

SOURCE: 2003 1500 Vulcan classic fowling Rear Plugs

Perform a leakdown or compression test on the bike before you go to the expense of a top end rebuild. You may find it is something as simple as the rear cylinder not firing properly or perhaps fuel mixture to that cylinder is not correct.

Post a picture of the plugs that are fouling. Are the ignition wires crossed back there? Both plugs may not fire at the same instant, some dual plug setups fire slightly apart (although I can't think of a way that would cause severe fouling like you describe.)

SOURCE: front right fork, suspension, chain guide

chain needs adjusting or new chain needed, shouldnt be that sloppy, and change both fork seals toghther, its a false economy to change just one, if you do the other will go within a month and cost you double to have the forks removed twice. these are fast bikes and need good maintenace, you would do 180mph with a dodgy fork seals and dodgy chain.

If you don't know by looking at the service/workshop manual, take it to a specialist suspension place. You could do more harm than good.

I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. There is a "violent" vibration that occurs only when you are going 40-60 MPH and you hit a bump or pot hole on the highway. The front end begins to...

Vibration from about 40-60 mph is usually attributed to wheel balancing, but the onset when you hit a bump seems to indicate play in the steering linkages (tie rods etc) or suspension members and stabiliser bar rubbers but you had that all checked out, that brings us back to the wheel balancing.

it is possible that the shocky on that side is faulty so a replacement would fix it if that is the fault
rather than being a "frozen "unit
it is more likely a broken unit that is allowing the suspension to bottom out on the bump
Take it to an accredited front suspension shop and have them do a front end check

The front end and steering wheel shakes when i hit a hole or bump

This usually indicates a problem with the suspension components. Check for play in front end suspension, 1st thing I would check would be the steering damper, it's often overlooked, and could be the cause. If that checks out ok, jack up and check for play in wheels, which could be caused by worn ball joints, tie rod ends, wheel bearings. A lot of possibilities, generally play in any components can trigger the shaking you're experiencing when hitting a pot hole or bump. Good luck!

Clunk noise from front left suspension

My guess is a strut bushing/bearing, but have your front end checked out by good shop to make sure it isn't something else more dangerous.
