Hi! I presume you have a Kei Shein carburettor set up? if so there really isnt a float height as such, if you are experiencing flooding or fuel spewing out of the rear aperture it is more likely the float needle/valve is either worn or has foreign matter stopping it from shutting out the fuel supply.
When you take the float bowl off and look at the float you'll see at the end under a tang a tiny spring around the tang which is attached to the float needle careful removal will reveal all for servicing.
O.K. penny dropped? do you mean Needle Jet? if so try middle to start and check plug colour after good run, remember raising richens the mixture lowering weakens. Trial & error I'm afraid as mileage, wear and fuel quality all determine final result?
Good luck!

Bike been stood for a while, starts no problem but fuel comes out of the rubber pipes at the top of the carbs were the diaphram is

it may just be sticky flotes or you may need to change the fule pipes as they could have rotted away
turn on the fule and try tapping the carbs to see if it stops leeking fule out the carbs but dont hit the carbs very hard just tap them! if it stops the fule leek strip carbs and clean the flote needels so they can move freely

My carb just lets the gas pour straight through

you wil need to strip the carb down as the flote is stuck down and its not shutting off the flow of fule when its at the right level for the bike to run on ,,,you may need to replace the neadel velve as its flooding the carb

Cr125 wont take fuel in carb when i twist trottle, it is a 99 and the slider is moving.

take the fule pipe off the carb and turn fule tap on to see if fule is coming out of the tank,,if it is,,strip carb and clean all the running jets out,,, dont go poking wire into them as this will do more harm than good,, just blow them out with comprest air,, check flote velve as well,,
hope this helps you out
