The oil filter is a "cartridge-type" filter. It is under the engine, in a cylindrical metal housing. The housing is removed, and the cartridge is then removed. Please respond if you want a picture.

Under the engine in the front you will see an aluminum cover. There is a square hole that fits a 3/8 ratchet remove this first. The new filter comes with a drain adapter that snaps in the hole under the cover. This lets the oil in the housing drain. Then take a oil filter cup wrench or a big channel lock to twist of the larger portion. Then change the filter and o-ring and reinstall.Make sure the o-ring on the square drive cover is there also

Where is the pressure switch located on a 1995 V6 Toyota Camry

You would probably mean the oil pressure (or 'sender') unit. On the 1MZ alloy block V6 it is located on the front of the engine under the timing belt cover at about the level of the oil filter, below the alternator mounting. See here p140 (you don't need to do the large amount of disassembly shown in the diagram).

On the older 3VZ iron block engine it is on the outside of the block right next to the oil filter, near where the dipstick tube goes down.

1997 camry ce 1mz v6

Almost certainly it is coming from the rear bank cam cover gasket, for which leak the Camry V6 is notorious. Other common places are the distributor shaft o-ring seal, the crankshaft nose seal (replaceable), and the oil filter adapter bracket (if fitted)

If you get the cam cover gaskets done, specify Toyota parts, as the aftermarket parts don't last, they harden quickly.

Oil leak by the oil filter 94CAMRY

It is a V6? If so this is one of the very common oil leaks on Camry engines of that model, the others being the distributor shaft o-ring seal and on a V6, the rear bank cam cover gasket.

The oil filter spins onto an adapter which itself is bolted to the block. In time the o-ring seal to the block goes hard and leaks. It can be easily replaced.

1992 Toyota Camry V6 how many litres oil

Can't give you an exact number but I can tell you how to find out. I will asume that you are changing you oil and filter? After putting the oil plug and filter on put three quarts of oil in and start engine; after oil light goes off, turn engine off and let set for about 5 minutes, then check oil; if it is not on the low mark of dip stick add another quart, start engine, stop engine, let set for a couple of minutes and check again. By now you should either be at or above the low line and just add enough oil to top it off at the full line. I would guess that about 4 1/2 to 5 quarts is what you will need. Hope this helps,

Where is the oil filter located on 2010 camy?

The oil filters on the 2010 Camry product are no longher 'spin-on' filters. The new style of filter being used are the 'cartridge' type. The filter is in an aluminum cylinder, under the engine. Toyota recommends the use of a special tool to remove the cartridge cylinder. Also note that you need to use the exact oil specified for your car. If you do not, your variable valve timing will not work properly, and you check engine light will come on. If the car specifies to use full-synthetic, you should not use anything else.

Where is the oil filter located on my 2010 V6 Camry

Not to be mean... But if you can't locate the oil filter cartrige housing, which is located beside the engine, toward the top side of the engine bay, with the round cap that has a oil can stamped on it... Maybe you should have a certified Toyota mechanic service your car. Not all cars have a visible "Spin on" traditional oil filter. Newer Toyotas (and many other new cars) have oil filtering cartriges. They are in filter housings and can be accessed via a spin on cap. (this is not the oil fill cap typically found on the valve cover. Do not fill the engine oil through the oil filter housing.) Removing these can make a large mess, requires the replacement of at LEAST one critical o-ring, and should be done AFTER the oil has been drained. Good luck

1997 4Runner oil quantity

For a V6 # Liter engine, you will use a galon and almost half (that is about 6 Liters of oil). I use a Toyota camry V6 3 Liter engine that shares the same engine with the Toyota 4Runner.
