SOURCE: My YZ 250 F rear shock absorber fluid and nitro amount

there is no quantity that i can give you.....you have to fill that thing completely and make sure you have no air at all in it...maybe you can see this important step on you tube....otherwise the pressure of nitrogen is between 150-175 lbs depending on the way you like you're bike to absorb..make sur you place you're valving shim in right place if you change you seal....

Go to small engine
then motorcycle Click on Yamaha
then just type in YZ 250

SOURCE: what oil weight is best for a 1996 yz 250?

Calls for 10w30. Any brand mc specific oil will do, along with any of the more expensive brands. If you need to go cheap, buy Type F (only)automatic transmission fluid. Change as soon as oil looks dark.

My transmission fluid in my 06 Grand Prix gxp got to 220 is that bad

That's high, but not terribly so. Transmissions typically run about 180, but on my Silverado the trans temp gauge doesn't show red until 250. Smell the trans fluid, if it doesn't smell burned, it should be ok. If unsure, change the fluid. I don't recommend a power flush, just drain the pan, change filter, measure what was in the pan, add that amount of new fluid and of course, correct why it got that hot in the first place.

How to change transmission fluid in Toyota Sienna LE 2006.

This transmission uses lifetim WS (world standard) trans fluid however most dfealers recommend changing it at about 100,000 miles. Replacing the fluid requires special tools and procedure so this is best left to leave this to someone who knows Toyotas to avoid possible transmission damage

2005 f 250 feels like the transmission is slipping from 1st to 2nd gear. could the trans just need to be serviced?

Hello tat... begin by checking the tranny fluid level. Add fluid to fill it to just over the max full level.

Drive it for ten miles and see if that alone solved the problem. IF not, have it serviced and have the belts tightened. Joe

I would like to know what kind of gear oil to put in my 06 yz 250

Calls for 10w/30. Any brand of mc specific oil will work. ie: Yamalube or Honda GN4 or the more expensive stuff will all work. On the cheaper side, you can use Type F (only) automatic transmision fluid. Just watch the color and change it when it starts getting dark.

How do i check transmissiom fluid 2006 jetta

Hi there,

Jetta's 2006 carry sealed gear box. There is no dip stick to check the transmission fluid. Per manufacturer, transmission fluid requires to change unless there is any issue with transmission. I hope this helps.

Where is a dipstick for the automatic transmission fluid level located on 2006 Torrent

there is no dipstick. the fluid must be checked from under the vehicle. fluid must be at 209* f.
or trans will be overfilled. there is a plug on the right end of the trans( 7/16" )& must be removed with engine running, if at proper temp & fluid comes out then trans is full.
