Stand the bike upright.In front of the fuel cap is a smaller black knob with a flat raised section on it.Undo this and pull it out.This is the oil dipstick.Wipe it and put it back in and without screwing it in.Pull it out and check the oil level.If the level is low,add oil through the dipstick hole.Hope this helps you
Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell.
