Difference between K 75 tns R 850

What's the difference between driving a K 75 and a R 850? I want to buy one of the 2 and I'm trying to find out what model is best for me. I'm just starting to ride again. 20 years ago I drove a yamaha RD 350. I heard the handwarming set on the steeringwheel is interesting. Is it easy an affordable to install after buying a bike?

The difference is: the K is a smooth (japanese like)user bike and the R is a big twin with it's own caracteristics. The R is more fun to ride. Because of the boxer engine the machine wants to slightly to the right when you give gas or accellerate. The R also feels 'bigger'. Both machine are perfectly balanced for riding at all speeds. The K is the easy one.

A TNS fuse is clicking when the ignition switch is off but when i go to ACC the clicking stops. What does this fuse do and what does it stand for and 3 what can I do to get this fixed

It is not a fuse, it is a relay.
  • TNS controls parking lights, tail lights and running lights.
  • Not sure what TNS stands for but my guess would be "Taillight, Night Running lights and Stop light"
  • Normally the TNS relay is powered by the taillight fuse and is energized when the headlight switch is turned on
Having said that I'm not sure why it would be cycling when the ignition switch is off. Could be a short to ground somewhere in the system. If you have had any work done I would have it rechecked, especially if you swapped out radios or added extra lighting somewhere.

Other things you can try:
  • Pull the taillight fuse. The TNS should not have power and the lights will not work.
  • If the TNS is a removable type of relay pull it out and see if you still hear something clicking
  • With the relay pulled check the base. The coil side should have 12vdc to ground on one side. the other side should not have continuity to ground with the headlight switch off.
  • If there are other relays in the box of the same type, try swapping them out and see fir the problem follows the relay.
While these things will not fix the problem it may help diagnose the underlying problem.

My Acer Aspire 5100 8X DVD±RW DL Burner Drive UJ-850 dvd burn only small files, don't burn movies completly. Itried with several programs like nero , image burn, gburn, etc....sometimes works well, the...

Instead of trying to remove the internal drive, which is still useful, do what I did and buy an external DVD drive, just plug it in with a USB cable...then you still have your internal for nornal stuff and you can move the external around anywhere to take care of the heavy duty stuff...good luck..pls rate this solution.

Installing drive belt

Hope this helps! If the belt seems too long for this configuration, some later models route differently to get more contact with the alternator pulley to reduce slippage:

Trying to remove my battery for a yahama trx 850 but my alarm keeps going of when i disconnect battery help

1.Disarm
2.Turn ignition on
3.press and hold the smaller of the two buttons on the fob until you hear a beep.

This is service mode but you still get a beep every few seconds which will drive you nuts! It must have a backup battery built in because it continues even without the battery.

You can take it out of service mode by pressing the arm/disarm button
