My oil pump packed up so i use 32-1 mixture which equates to approxamately 125ml 2 stroke per 4 ltrs of petrol

    Hi I’m needing help I have a keeway hurricane 50cc 2008 model my oil light is on but can’t see the top up line on the 2 stroke tank so I filled it to the top and the oil light is still on

The short answer for this is NO.
The long answer is obtain scooter specific 2 stroke oil from a local scooter or motorcycle shop. Under the seat there is a rubber cap with a hole in its center. That is the oil reservoir cap. Pull it off and fill the reservoir up to within an inch of the top so as to not over fill it. The rest is all handled by the scooter.

well this scooter has a 2 stroke engine (meaning it mixes oil and gas) so it would need any kind of 2-stroke oil, it is always recommended to NOT buy the cheapest oil and rather to spend a little more on an oil brand that works better.

Sound like the float in the carb is getting stuck the way to tell is loosen the screw at the very bottom or carb and see how much gas comes out it should run forever if only runs for a few secs the clean out carb

Keeway superlight 125 adjusments
Pull the slide out of the carb then move the clip on the jet needle down one or two notches. This will richen the low range fuel mix. You can also get a rear sprocket with about 4 more teeth. This will get you off the line and out of the corners faster BUT it will also lower your top speed.

2 stroke engine smokes. how do you adjust the fuel/oil mixture?
The thing with two strokes is that they smoke a bit under normal operation, and they smoke like mad if they haven't really been run for a period of time, I would advise you to run it for a while and see if that helps.

You should not need to adjust the mixture settings at all.
