Runs better with choke means the mixture is lean,
Has the exhaust been changed.?
Did this problem just begin.?
Check for air leaks on intake manifold.
Clean carb.
Check valve clearances
raise the needle jet one notch
one size up in the main jet.

check one item at a time, and write notes about jetting changes.and improvements
I also run Moreys upper cylnder lube, helps starting hot or cold, and helps stop "cough stopping" with heavy rear brake use

Rino coughs and stalls

Possibly have the been done since breakin?Valve clearences should be adjusted after breakin and periodicaly after depending on specs.Improperaly adjusted valves can become burnt and not seal properly the also adversly effect timing.

My kolpin fourwheeler will idle, but stalls when i give it gas

hello, make sure your spark plug is getting a good blue flame, if not you may need cdi, i replaced one on my atv, would idle all day would not rev up, cdi boxes is the brain of your atv, motorcycles tells it what to do as far as firing, timing advance, hotter fire to plug etc..my atv is a 2000 350 warrior, their known to not have very reliable cdi, lots of problems with warrior cdis....

My 450 hp gas gas atv missfires when the throtle is relesed, then stalls and loose power

100% the issue is too much air. get your carb checked, reduce air intake.

open the air intake on the carb about 4 full turns then start the bike. if it does not want to start open the idle bring it up at least 5 turns. when it start at a very high rev, start closing the air intake slowly until you feel and hear you have hit the right spot. adjust your idle in the process.

NOTE: missfires may also be caused by a fouled out sparks

MY YZ 450 intermittintly just dies. Ironically rarely off road. Just Hiway driving. Someone told me that there is an oil level sensor that will shut the ignition off. Is that for real?

Howdy: When off road the gas is always moving and going into the carb bowl. When on the highway gas stays flat. Maybe your floats need adjustment or the shut-off needle is stick - Check it out - Doug

My 06 yz 450 just started to smoke , it is in great cond otherwise,

If it has allot of use & hours on the motor - then its typical.. The piston & rings ware out on 2 stroke engines.. They need to be replaced after so long.. It common..

Or maybe a little to much iol in the gas mixture..

Hope this helps !!
