Buy four quarts, but plan on using just three. If you actually do change the filter, you will drain more oil. Not all the oil drains out if you leave the filter alone.
Once you drain the oil, your filter is replaced and your drain plug is tight, add two quarts, and check it as you add the third qt. a little at a time. If your bike has a sight glass, make sure you stand the bike up straight and centered, and wait a minute before you take the reading so the oil can get to the glass. (Some glasses require two people to read!)
If your engine just has a dipstick, check it as you add the third qt. Once you think you're in the operating range, put the cap on and run the engine for a minute. Kill it and check oil level once more to see if it dropped.
Have fun, and enjoy your new scooter! Let me know if we can help with other maintenance on the FZR. Later,

Check the charging rate of your bike, if the lights are getting brighter on acceleration thn its prolly over charging!
The rectifier could be the culprit.
Good luck.
