All was good!! any ideas what happened and can I fix it so it doesn't do it again?i think you'll find the crapy standard slave cylinder is about to expireget a nice billet aluminum one from evoluzione cyclesports in California at evoluzione.net. Iv'e had one on my 990SM since March and have done 5500miles with no hint of troubleit has double '0' rings on the piston, the KTM part only has one which allows the piston to cock-over and leak fluid, just take yours off and have a look. I had 2 fail on my 950SM and 1 on the 990SM,the mineral clutch fluid gets very black from engine heat, changed the fluid several times but never could trust the standard one wasn't gonna let me down.,,,

Hi i have just got a 05 cr 125 and when i select a gear withe the cluch pulled in the bike stalls like the cluch is sticking or not operating but can feel resistance in the leaver and can hear it operating...

Hi, sounds like you may have too much free play on your lever, when you pull the clutch it is not disengaging all the way, try taking some free play out, simply turn the adjuster at the lever so when you pull the lever it has resistance after half inch, if is is still the same than wrong oil can also do it, worn clutches is another reason.

Need to find out the clutch disc spec's for a 03 suzuki orzak 250

the easy way to find out if the cluch is slipping is to ride the bike in top gear pull in the cluch rev the bike up to high revs and drop the cluch if the engine dont drop in revs very fast and the revs only drop slowly its slipping if this happens check that you have a small amount of slack in the cluck cabel ie: 1/4 of an inch is ok if its to tight it will cause the cluch to slip as the engine warms up

My mk4 golf cuts out when clutch is applied, not every time but enough times to make me concerned and frustrated.

oh dear, you drive with your foot on the cluch then? or hold the cluch down at the lights insted of knocking it out of gear? never hold down the cluch for more that 30 seconds at a time,,,,,naughty naughty! this is just one of the prices you pay for that,
its you cluch release bearing, its seised up on you, cluch riding dose that! its only a little bearing!!!!!
the fix is a new cluch bearing, but what it costs to take the gear box out to replase the bearing it would be cheeper in the long run to have a compleat new cluch fitted, and then lurn not to ride the new cluch as much,,,,and all this just to pull away a fuw seconds faster??? this is a £350-£500 job now
how frustrated do you feel now?????
