There could be a few different things causing your Landice L7 treadmill to race to top speed when turned on. Here are some potential causes and solutions:
Motor Control Board: The motor control board may be malfunctioning and sending the treadmill into top speed automatically. If this is the case, you will need to replace the motor control board.
Console Board: The console board may be sending incorrect signals to the motor control board, causing the treadmill to race to top speed. If this is the case, you will need to replace the console board.
Speed Sensor: The speed sensor may be malfunctioning and sending incorrect signals to the motor control board. If this is the case, you will need to replace the speed sensor.
Calibration: The treadmill may be out of calibration, causing it to race to top speed. To recalibrate the treadmill, consult your owner's manual for instructions.
It's recommended to consult with a qualified technician to diagnose and fix the issue to avoid causing further damage or injury.
In December 1983, Car and Driver clocked a four-speed Fiero SE from 0-60 mph (0-97 kph) in an uninspiring 11.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 105 mph (169 kph).
Suppose the length of time taken is T and the wind speed is W. Also we will assume that the ground speed of the plane is exactly its top speed plus or minus the wind speed, with no losses anywhere. So
(180 - W) * T = 100
(180 + W) * T = 135
180T - WT = 100
180T +WT = 135
Add these 2 equations together
360T = 235 so T = 0.653 hrs or 39.17 min
Now subtract equation 1 from equation 2
2WT = 35 This is the equation you ask for in your question
my top speed is 150 kmh. ( 94 mph. ) I seen one from Germany his top speed was 182 kmh. don't know what he did to do that,. at 8,000 rpm that's on the speedometer, not true speed ,.I have had mine up to 8,000 rpm and only 150 kmh. he must be going down hill,. I did it only for 1/2 mile don't want to loose my lic.
If it is the original exhaust system, I suspect a blockage, causing excessive back pressure causing lack of performance. It may be the carb has a blocked choke? Hope this helps.
Hi les
Not much to start with here unfortunatly mate. A free flow muffler will help top end speed, change the factory airbox to a K&N style pod air filter, other than that, hugging the tank at top speed :) If you do change these parts, you may also need to increase the main jet size to richen up the mixture for better tuning of the motor with the better flowing parts. This bike has a top speed of 100kmp and produces 10 hp, so you may only expect to get at best less than 1 extra neddy, and perhaps another 5 km/hr.... I suggest upgrading to a bigger machine of you feel the need for speed :)
If its 125's you are into, test drive a Honda CBR 125R 6 speed fuel injected 13.4 horsepower, and good for 120km/hr
