97 Fatboy wiring diagram

I am changing the head light housing with a neo and the wireing that came with the new unit is different. The old one has 3 wires coming from the housing/lamp. (white, yellow, black). The new one has 5 wires. One yellow, one white, 2 black, and one yellow with a male connector on it. How do I Chang this out correctly? Where do the extra black and yellow wires connect to?

Check to make sure BOTH light filaments are intact. Or try another bulb to double check the situation before wasting to much time on a simple fix.

SOURCE: How to wire a tach on 05 heritage softail

Locate & route Black lead to ground / 2004-later softail: On the frame strap under the seat directly in front of the battery.

Locate & route the pink lead to Signal / For 2004 & later FXST/C/I The #3 cavity in the connector {39b} on the back of the speedometer. The socket terminal on the signal (pk) lead fits the #3 cavity.

Locate & route the Orange and white lead to power / Ummm.. it's saying for 2004 and later to adapt to the fuse block For earlier [ For 1996 to 2003 softail: locate the power lead (o/w) in the tail lamp pin connector {7a} under the seat behind the right rear corner of he battery.] "here you are looking to run it to a fused line, not directly to power/battery" I hope this helped.

SOURCE: picture wiring diagram for 2003 harley fatboy

May I suggest a trip to your local library. Cycle repair books should be in 646 stacks of reference.
Otherwise you can Google for 2003 Clymer Service manuals on the internet.
I think Clymer had electrical diagrams in their books. I doubt that any except the HD service book would have anything about the physical location of the harness, but the pictures in the other books would help you.

I have a 2008 KIA Grand Carnival and need the stereo radio wiring codes or pinouts please?

It is generally not recommended to rearrange the pins on a wiring harness or a head unit as it can result in damage to the unit or create electrical problems. Instead, you may want to consider using a wiring adapter or a different wiring harness that is compatible with your aftermarket head unit.
Wiring adapters are designed to connect an aftermarket head unit to a vehicle's factory wiring harness, allowing you to install the new head unit without modifying the original wiring. These adapters are available for a wide range of vehicles and head units and can make the installation process easier and more reliable.
If a wiring adapter is not available for your vehicle, you may need to use a different wiring harness that is compatible with your head unit. Some head units come with a universal wiring harness that can be used with a variety of vehicles, or you may be able to purchase a specific wiring harness for your vehicle and head unit combination.
Overall, it is generally best to use a wiring adapter or a compatible wiring harness rather than attempting to modify the wiring yourself. This can help ensure that the installation is safe and reliable and can prevent potential damage to the head unit or the vehicle.

How to change the front brake switch on my 2002 Fatboy...

You'll have to cut the old wires, and solder the new wires.
Cut the wires from both the old and new switches to different lengths, so the when you splice them together, the enlarged area at the splice will be staggered from each other, so the "bulge" created will be smaller inside the wiring harness cover.

Helping a friend install a new unit... he has 3 wires where we took out the old unit (the old unit had 4 wires) .. the (source) 3 wire is black, white & bare.... the old and new unit have black, red,...

Hello,

I suspect on teh wiring from the house the black&white will be the hot wires and the bare will be ground/neutral

use a volt meter before connecting tonew cooktop and check for;
black/bare to have 120volts
white/bare to have 120volts

if that is what you find...connect new cooktop as such;

black to black
red to (house) white

(cooktop) white and green to bare

Zanussi zx99/5 not working ,lights still working but freezer defrosting and fridge getting warmer

sounds like the thermostat inside the fridge has gone.
The information I have provided is a guide and is not directly related to the make and model of the appliance brand you have but seems to cover the majority of household fridge freezers I have come accross. There is a dial inside the fridge usually up on the right side wall of the fridg where the light is. It is usual for the thermostat unit to be inside the plastic housing behind the dial. It is easy to replace the thermostat because I have done it myself and it worked. I am not an expert so if I can do it then anybody could. the unit is usually a standard replacement unit which costs roughly £20.00 available from fridge freezer repair shops. I got my replacement from Sale Appliances, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The unit comes with the thermometer type wire which fixes to the back of the fridge - inside that is- already attatched to it and all you need to do is remove the screw holding the housing in place (unplug from mains first of course), remove bulb, prise off the plastic housing to reveal thermostat unit, take some detailed pictures of how the wires are attatched or take detailed notes and diagrams, pull off the eelectical connectors (may need a pair of pliers to help, but must be gentle so as not to rip wires out of the connectors), put in new thermostat and rewire as it was before. You will not have to literally rewire the thing but simply slide the wired connectors onto the correct place. The connections are numbered both on the old unit as well as the new unit. Dont worry if the connectors on the rear of the new unit is different to the old one so long as you connect the wires to the same number it wont matter where that connector is located e.g. number two always fixes to the number two marked on the unit, number 3 to numbr 3 etc.
