My Bose QC15 won't turn on, I've already tried replacing the battery. What could be the problem?

Same thing happened to me. Just picked it up and tried to turn it on with a fresh battery. No light and no noise canceling. It was working fine when I put it down. I just had the same issue. I tried turning them on and off rapidly, but the did not work. But I did take out a towel and lay it on a table. I then began tapping the unit against the towel. I was not tapping hard just. In about 30 seconds the unit started working again. I just had the same issue. I tried turning them on and off rapidly, but the did not work. Mine just did this as well. Took the advice of the post above. Lightly tapped on the power side of the headphones and the powered up. As also posted. they had been working perfectly fine.
