Miles light up but don't change and turn signals don't cancel.
Speedo gears are broken. Damn cheap to replace. Double check the teeth of that tiny gear when buying replacement gear from wrecker shop. No need to buy whole speedo transducer. Changing that speedo gear is less than 15 minutes job. Claculate the cost that a mechanic may charge you for that time.
The sensor on the front wheel is broken or the cable became disconnected.

Contact me directly and I'll send you some troubleshooting information. It's out of an older service manual but the information is still good. The wire colors may be a bit different however. [email protected] This forum will not allow for a file transfer of over 150Kb. I'll send four jpg files. Remind me of what you need.

SOURCE: 2000 Roadking my speedo works
The problem is with the speedo. The speedo has a "lean switch" that works in conjunction with the turn signal canceller. If the bike does not detect a "lean", the TSC will not cancel the turn signals Resolve the speedo problem and the turn signal problem will go away. As for what's causing the speedo problem, I have no idea other than maybe a loose connection. I've read a LOT of problems with the speedo not working on this forum but since I don't work the bikes built in 2000 and later, I'm afraid I have no experience with the problem and therefore cannot offer any advice.
Good Luck
