Putting my bike back together after replacing stock handle bars. The previous owner had the clutch cable routing wrong and i am trying to do it right but something isn't working.....where can i find a detailed description on how to route the clutch cable?

I added a 2 inch riser to my dyna and didnt have to replace any cables, so - to answer your question, not always. There is plenty of wiggle room, however, if there is gonna be more difference that about 2 inches, replacement will be required. ADJUSTMENT WILL DEFINITELY be needed. And no, its not difficult, when u have the bars off, its nearly 1/2 done anyway
SOURCE: I just changed the clutch
With the engine off, put the bike in gear and try to push it. If it rolls, your clutch is disengaged for some reason. You'll have to pull the end off of the transmission where the clutch cable goes in and check to find out what's wrong.
Good Luck
