Could be a couple of things, Also im not familiar with the gsxr engine but with my zxr iv had the motor clicking either when the cam chain has stretched a bit but not enough for the adjuster to take up the slack or when the valve clearances have needed adjustment, if one of the exhaust stud's has come loose can cause a noise but would probably make more of a knocking than clicking, Might be worth checking the manual to see what the service intervals are on the cam chain and valve clearances for that motor.

SOURCE: loss of power, stalling, backfiring

Sounds like you are not getting fire to that cylinder, check plug wire, plug, and the cap on the end of the plug wire.

If all is well with those, just let me know and we can go to the next possible cause.

SOURCE: I have a 92 gsxr 750. I want to use a 1200 Bandit

the gsxr1100 cam will fit the bandit 1200 engine, i've done that mod 3 times so far. after that it's just exhaust and jetting.

Testimonial: "Thanks for clearing that up on the cam for the Bandit-GSXR engine mod issue. You were very helpful. I will be looking for a Bandit engine now!"

I somewhat agree with other solutions on this page. I agree that what you are describing is a severe misfire, however there are MANY possible causes for a severe misfire other than just the spark plugs...I recommend diagnosing the CAUSE of the misfire before spending any money "GUESSING" and replacing a bunch of parts.

Also, a code P0300 is a "RANDOM MISFIRE" code which indicates that there is definately more than one cylinder misfiring. Your computer MAY display this code, however, a SINGLE cylinder misfire can also cause a loss of power and the check engine light to flash.
You may just have something like a bad coil on one cylinder that needs to be replaced. This is why PROPER diagnosis is recommended.

Loss of power

The problem is in the installation of the bearings and seals. Is it leaking oil? Try laying it on the flywheel side I would guess bad seal and sucking air. The motor should no be that hard to turn.
