Already replaced ASD relay, spark plugs, coil, wires, crankshaft sensor and still no spark ! Does the camshaft sensor have to be installed in a certain position?
If the ASD (in your case MFI) is working and your getting fuel and no spark. You need to test the coil for power ,look at the coil terminal the middle is power (B+) or 12 volts. Each other side is for ignition signal for that cylinder, Just measure the middle of the 3 wire with key on if you have 12 volts you are going to need a ECM ,There is no programing needed just match it drop in and play

Hello. One way to check if it is working is when you try to start the car does the needle move on you tac? If not then your crank sensor is more then likely the problem. It is located on the backside of the engine under the intake manifold. If is in about the center of the block. There will be a 10mm bolt holding the sensor in. If you decide to change it yourself (not to terrible of a job) unplug the sensor, remove the bolt and spin it back and forth slightly while pulling it out. It may be stoburn and you might have to work at it for a little bit (not a done of room) but it will come. When it's out the sensor will be shaped kind of like an L. I have changed a few of these over time and they can be a little stoburn. To install just reverse the process.

In READING what you wrote, it appears that your car is difficult to start and pretty much is rough while running....It also appears that your are randomly replacing parts...How did you verify that the parts your have replaced had failed? I suggest you get a basic manual like chiltons or haynes as well as a decent digital volt/ohmeter, then do some testing. Pay close attention to map sensor test and manifold air temp. Having a good fuel pump does not insure that your injectors are clean enough to deliver a good spray pattern This will not show up on any test...you need to actually look at them. There are other items to look at but I think you will likely find your problem in what i mentioned. (you already checked for vacuum leaks, right?)
Good luck!

This engine doesn't start at all. the reason I am replacing parts as I am is because I can't get my code meter to read anything, it only shows "LINK" when I run a scan. This car ran perfectly until it sat for 2 months in a garage while I worked in another state. I came back, it started with a boost, ran ok for awhile then one morning just wouldn't start.
Already checked for vacuum leaks....none.....I just need to get a spark from the coil to the plugs.
Already replaced ASD relay, spark plugs, coil, wires, crankshaft sensor and still no spark !
Ok. I now have fuel coming in but still no spark from the coil to plugs The reason I've been randomly replacing parts is because it won't start and I can't get a reading on my code meter, all I get is NO LINK . Already replaced ASD relay, spark plugs, coil, wires, crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor and still no spark to plugs! Anyone help please ?
Ok, thanks for all the great answers. I'm going to attempt to change the ECM on my own so can anyone tell me the location and instructions to replace it.....btw the way, the coil voltage checked out good. Again, many thanks !
ECM is next to the air filter
Next to the air filter ? Service manage at dealership said it was under the dash at the center with 3 connections. Now I'm confused !
Under the dash at the center is the trans axle control module, there are several places match it up to the one you need
