How can I properly tune the carborator for the good mileage in the Pulsar 150 DTSi ? I need to know the step by step process so that I can tune it myself. Please assist me

Hello, factory preset settings are recommended & are the best.
The engineers have tuned the bike for optimal power & economy. They have the equipment to monitor engine perimeters and exhaust emissions. This is something you don't have. I hope this helps.

What is idle RPM of Pulsar 150 DTSi 2007 model. Mine shows 1500 and after warm-up show 2000

Most bikes are in the 1000rpm range unles they are 2 stroke (some small Aprillas etc.), dont always go by the tacho meter, you can usually hear if the bike is idling too high or too low and idle adjustment is usually fairly easy once you find the adjuster screw.

My bike did'nt give mileage

Hi , there a lot a ways in which u can optimise the efficiency of the bike .Even i had a pulsar150 DTSi . So i know the ways . . .
  1. Leave ur bike for service and as him to clean the air filter .
  2. carburetor must be cleaned as a black layered coating would be formed on that
  3. Adjust th Knob that is present right under the tank until the RPM shows between 1000 and 1500 in the RPM indicator
  4. Don't raise ur bike too much as it spoils the tuning
  5. See to that u use unleaded petrol as petrol with adhesive spoils the performance . this according to bajaj Company .
  6. accelerate slowly as it leads to maximum fuel efficiency
