Push & hold the red wine button & the white wine button. This will start the adjustment process. Let go of both & use the plus & minus buttons to control the temp. When you are done hit the light button & the unit will record the new temp.

Igloo Model FRW1213 10 bottle wine cooler will cool 1-2 days, then temp goes way up.

try disconnecting temp sensor from board if gets cold replace if same possible compressor kicking off
tip

Too cool or over cool in room

Indoor sensor to sense the room temp and must cut off the compressor by working. If sensor defective, compressor will continuously running resulting to over cool in room. And also 23 C degree setting temp is best cooling for office and bed rooms. If for peculiar instrument which should be kept under low temp, can be set as mentioned temp (say 18 C or 16 C )<br />

What makes the cooling fans turn on?

there is a temperature sensor that feeds the ecm(computer)a signal to let it know if the motor requires cooling operation at a predermined temp, which the ecm sends a signal to the cooling fan relay to turn on the cooling fans.when the temp lowers to a predetermined temp the signal is turned off to the ecm and the ecm turns off the signal to the fan relay to turn off the cooling fans.

Can't get my Simple Comfort 7890-DHW thermostat to set on heat. Tried the mode/program and have made it worse.

Push up or down arrow once. H will flash, this is heat setting. Set your temp. Then C will flash, this cool temp. Set your cool temp. After short delay stat will go back to display room temp. Red light heat is on. Green light cool is on. Hope that helps

My ac will not stay on when its at a certain temperture or auto. only if its in on position

this is correct because if you set it to certin temp. when it reaches that temp. it will shut down to prevent over cooling when the temp in the room goes up a preset amount 2-5 deg.(preset by manafatuer) the unit should go back on to drop the temp. to your set temp. Auto works the same way, where just on will cool to the temp the system can cool efficently.

Temp

Before an evaporation cooler will feel "cool" there has to be a greater difference in the outdoor and indoor temps and/or humidity. If the humidity is high and the temp cool < 80'f The "cool" wont feel cool because there is not much evaporation taking place.

Now if the temp goes to 90 or the humidity goes down under say 40% the cooling effect "feeling cool" will change and be more like its cooling. Part because of the difference in the temperature but also because the air can hold more humidity and it is pulling moisture off your skin.

When you talk about "feel" it is rather suggestive and always different for different people.
