It is a model from 2012. Are you sure you have the 150cc and not the 50cc? They are restricted to 50mph.

You said "55 mph going down a hill with the wind at our back". Were you riding with a passenger, or it "our", you are the scooter? A 150 wouldn't do well with a passenger, and you would have to take into consideration your combined weight.

This is the specs, but take into account the Chinese are short, petite, lightweight people.

I've heard of people using the Loncin 150 engines in the Honda GL145 bikes. I dont know more about that bike. I think its a good bike for travelling...............
